Starting a business in Romania can be intimidating even when you already know what you want to build. Registering a company is only the beginning. There are CAEN codes and Trade Register requirements, accountants and tax structures, permits and authorizations, employment rules, local authorities, and different requirements depending on what your business actually does.
For someone unfamiliar with the system, it can be difficult to know which questions to ask, much less which order to ask them in.
Entrepreneur consultations help you make sense of both sides of the business: the thing you want to create and the Romanian environment in which you have to create it.
We can work through your concept, market and competition, positioning, branding, customer experience, startup priorities, and practical next steps while also identifying the registrations, permits, professional support, and regulatory questions that need to be addressed before you invest too heavily in an idea.
I don’t replace your accountant, lawyer, Trade Register, or permitting authorities. What I can do is help you understand the landscape, recognize what you don’t yet know, find the right questions and resources, and build a much clearer roadmap from idea to operation.

Romania has no shortage of business opportunities, but many good ideas never get off the ground because the person with the time and ability to run them doesn’t necessarily have the resources to develop the concept, research the market, build the brand, and create a strategy from scratch. Founder Collaboration is designed to bridge that gap by bringing together someone who wants to build and operate a business with the strategic and creative support needed to develop it.
I work with a small number of founders during the development stage, contributing where the project needs it most. That may include identifying an opportunity, researching the market, developing the concept and positioning, building the brand and customer experience, creating promotional materials, or shaping a practical launch strategy. The founder brings the commitment, initiative, and day-to-day work of building and operating the business.
Rather than charging a large consulting fee upfront, I invest my work in the project in exchange for a minority ownership interest. The exact arrangement depends on the business, the scope of my involvement, and what each person is contributing, and is agreed upon before the work begins. This model is best suited to someone who is resourceful, reliable, and genuinely wants to run a business of their own, but may not have the capital or experience to develop every part of it alone.
You don’t necessarily need to arrive with the perfect business idea. Sometimes identifying the right opportunity is part of the work.
